1. Who runs this

Aldrin Resources is a personal catalog (links, files, tools, workshops) run by Aldrin. It is not a large product company. Contact and portfolio: aaldrin.dev.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Email address — newsletter subscribe, unlock / workshop purchases, workshop ticket claims, and gift-claim flows.
• Payment-related details — amount, order status, and PayMongo payment identifiers for purchases. Card and wallet details are handled by PayMongo; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Comments — optional name and message on a resource page, plus a hashed browser fingerprint so each visitor can post one comment per resource.
• Usage events — resource views, downloads, outbound clicks, unlocks, and similar counters used to run and improve the catalog.
• Cookies / local storage — session unlock cookies after a valid code or paid unlock; workshop claim cookies for ticket access and ICS download; optional client flags (for example first-visit).
• Gift claim submissions — claim code use and optional screenshot upload when a raffle requires it.

We do not sell personal data. Browsing published pages alone does not require an account.

3. Why we use it

• Deliver unlock codes, workshop tickets (meeting link + calendar invite), and emails you asked for
• Process PayMongo QR payments and confirm orders
• Run the newsletter and gift-claim campaigns
• Show public comments and limit spam / duplicate comments
• Understand which resources are used and keep the site working
• Notify the operator of operational events (for example new subscriber or purchase)

4. Processors & hosting

Data may be processed by providers that power the site, including:

• Supabase — database and auth for the operator
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email
• PayMongo — QR Ph payments (their privacy policy applies to payment processing)
• BunnyCDN — file and image delivery
• Hosting / edge — where the app is deployed (for example Vercel or similar)

5. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above: subscriber records until you unsubscribe; orders and claims for fulfillment and records; comments until removed; cookies until they expire or you clear them. Analytics counters may be retained in aggregate.

6. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any newsletter email (or contact us).
• Clear site cookies / storage in your browser to drop unlock or claim cookies.
• Ask about access or deletion of email-linked records (subscribe, purchase, workshop claim) via the contact links below — we will help where practical and lawful.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information for a child if you are not permitted to do so.

8. Changes

This policy may change when the site’s features or providers change. The “last updated” date at the top will move when we revise it. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
