Terms
Simple rules for using the files, links, tools, and software shared here — and for 3D model commissions. Last updated September 12, 2026.
1. What this is
This site is a personal catalog of resources Aldrin uses and creates — shared so you can learn, build, and experiment. Access is free unless a specific item says otherwise.
2. File downloads
When you download a file from this site, you agree that:
- You may not redistribute or share the file directly (no re-uploads, cloud folders, Discord dumps, torrents, or sending the raw file to others).
- You may not sell the file — including paid packs, “premium downloads,” or bundling the digital file into a product listing.
- If you want others to get the same resource, share the resource page link from this site (the URL of the resource, not a direct file URL). Gated downloads still need their own code from Aldrin.
- 3D prints from this catalog: you may print models and sell physical printed parts / finished prints. That does not include selling or sharing the digital source files (STL, 3MF, etc.). Custom commissions are covered in section 3.
3. Commissioned 3D models
These rules apply to every direct 3D model commission (custom STL/3MF work delivered to a client), unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
The commission fee covers delivery of the digital files (typically STL and/or 3MF) and a non-exclusive license to manufacture and sell physical prints — finished parts, assembled products, and other tangible goods made from those files. You may print for yourself, for customers, and at commercial volume under that license.
Paying for the commission does not include the right to sell or distribute the digital files. Unless you have purchased digital commercial / distribution rights in a separate written agreement, you may not:
- Sell, license, sublicense, rent, or give away the STL, 3MF, or any other source files
- Upload them to file sites, print-on-demand catalogs, Discord, Drive folders, or any marketplace (including as a “free download”)
- Share, swap, or redistribute modified, remeshed, split, scaled, or remixed versions of the files — a derivative file is still a digital file
- Bundle the files into paid packs, courses, or “digital product” listings
Copyright stays with the designer (Aldrin) unless it is expressly transferred in writing. The client does not own the IP by default; they hold the print-and-sell license described above. The designer may reuse techniques, workflows, and similar original designs unless the written commission grants exclusivity or a copyright assignment.
If you need to sell or publish the digital files (or grant others that right), that is a separate digital distribution license, quoted and paid in addition to the commission. Until that license exists in writing, only physical prints are commercially licensed.
4. No selling software or apps
You may not:
- Sell, rent, or trade any software, app, installer, license key, or download from this site
- Especially resell or redistribute pro / paid / commercial versions of apps or tools that were shared for personal or educational use
- Bundle these files into paid packs, courses, or “premium download” listings
- Claim ownership of third-party software shared here
If something is a commercial product, buy it from the official vendor when your use requires a paid license.
5. Third-party licenses
Many items belong to other creators or companies. Their terms still apply. Sharing a link or file here does not transfer those rights to you. When in doubt, follow the original product’s license and the vendor’s rules — and still do not redistribute files obtained here.
6. No warranty
Resources are provided as-is. They may be outdated, incomplete, or unsuitable for your setup. You use them at your own risk. Aldrin is not responsible for data loss, broken builds, license disputes, or other damage from using anything found here.
7. Comments
Public comments should stay respectful and on-topic. Do not post spam, malware links, piracy sources, or other people’s private information. Comments may be removed without notice.
8. Changes
These terms can change when the site or what’s shared changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
